Adaptive yoga classes are tailored to meet the specific needs of older adults and individuals facing challenges such as injuries or other health issues. These classes typically focus on providing modifications and props to support varying abilities, making yoga accessible to a wider range of participants. The emphasis is on adapting traditional yoga poses to accommodate limitations while still reaping the benefits of physical activity, relaxation, and mindfulness. I often incorporate gentle movements using chairs, yoga props, and even the walls, to assist you to find the heart of your own yoga practice. Breathing exercises, meditation, as well as focusing on building strength, balance, and overall well-being will benefit all levels of practitioners. The atmosphere is always welcoming, inclusive, and supportive. My goal is to create a safe space for individuals to explore yoga even if sure they cannot do yoga!

Adaptive Yoga Strength & Stability Classes are Fridays at 10:30 a.m.
